Floy Maxine Rhodes

Floy Maxine Rhodes, age 88, of Bluffton, Indiana, formerly of Daisy, died Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was born on June 12, 1923, in Daisy, the daughter of Leo Cook and James Ellis Cook. On January 15, 1946, she was married to Willie Hoyt ("Bill") Rhodes, who preceded her in death on September 29, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Rhodes Hicks and husband, Dave, of Syracuse, Indiana; her son, Billy Rhodes and wife, Becky, of Summerville, South Carolina; and her son, Dwight Rhodes and wife, Sue, of Alvin, Texas; six grandchildren, Richard Cinninger, Ryan Cinninger, Katie Rhodes, Kristin Rhodes, Andy Rhodes and Aaron Rhodes; two great-grandchildren, Leander Cinninger and Noah Cinninger; and one sister, Ella Vern Cook Ray of Daisy; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2012, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Bobby Golden officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, afternoon prior to services, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Midway Cemetery, near Kirby, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
