Floy L. Hardin age 92, of Naples, TX. formerly of Malvern, died Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was born October 30, 1913 in Bismarck, AR. the son of the late Elmer Lee And Tessie Ethel Thornton Hardin. Mr. Hardin was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Malvern, a retired truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran of WW II. He married Estellene Huggs on December 22, 1937 and was preceded in death by one daughter, Rita Jo Hardin.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Estellene Huggs Hardin; three daughters, Carolyn Beeler of Huntsville, AL.; Judy Butler of Dawson Springs, KY; Laquetta Bell of Naples, TX; one brother, Coy Hardin of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Blanche Sterne of El Paso, TX; Betty Reagen of Odessa, TX; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 31, 2006 at First Assembly of God Church in Malvern with Rev. Don Nordin and Rev. Randy Seibert officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery near Bismarck. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral in Arkadelphia.
