Floro Velchez Arcilla, 76, of Little Rock passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. He was born in Bagamanoc, Catanduanes, Philippines on August 14, 1937 to Alfonso and Maria (Velchez) Arcilla. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church and the Arkansas Philippines Association. Mr. Arcilla was a retired chef.
He is survived by his wife, Josefina Arcilla of Little Rock; daughter, Nelia Arcilla Chambers (Lance Dean) of Little Rock; grandchildren, Reyna Alexis Chambers and Jade Madison Chambers of Little Rock; sister, Francisca Arcilla Lanon of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Paciano, Vidal and Apolonio; and sister, Inocencia.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 3 at 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church with Father Tom Marks as celebrant. Open visitation at the funeral home will be Tuesday, October 1 from 9:00-4:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 2 from 9-3:00 p.m., and from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday with Rosary services starting at 7:00 p.m
