Florene Stacks
Florene Stacks, 98, of Sherwood went to be with the Lord September 12, 2016. Born August 28, 1918 to Charles and Mary Edwards, she was preceded in death by her husband Omer and her only son James. She was one of eleven children.
She is survived by grandson James Stacks II, wife Sherri, and great-granddaughter Emily; grandson John Stacks; sisters Evelyn and Glenna, brother Calvin and many extended family and friends.
Florene was the cook superintendent at the LRAFB Officer's Club for 23 years. She, along with husband Omer, was a founding member of Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood. She had an unbreakable faith in God and was a caring, compassionate soul.
Visitation will be Friday, September 16th, from 6-8:00 p.m. At Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow on Saturday, September 17th, at 9:30 a.m.
