Florence Head

Florence Nadine Head, 90, of North Little Rock was surrounded by family at her home when she went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 14. She was a gentle woman whose strong faith defined her life and impacted her family, friends and anyone else she met along the way. She leaves behind a legacy of love and tenderness that we will always remember. She will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan (Jeanie) Head of Little Rock, daughter in law, Ann Head of North Little Rock, sisters, Cynthia Austin of Clarksville, Nedra Erekson and Elaine (Klenner) Erekson and brother Jim Grant (ReNae) Sparks of Salt Lake City, Utah, and sister-in-law Sandi Head of North Little Rock. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Ben, Sam and Maggie Head of Little Rock and Rebekah Head of North Little Rock as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Maurice D. Head, son David S. Head and her parents Florence Fuller and Grant Sparks.
The Family wishes to thank Dr. Laura Otter and Arkansas Hospice for their care and support.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A Celebration of Nadine's life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the funeral home, interment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park.
