Flora V. (Virginia Garrett) Moreland, age 88, of 89 Sunset Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas, born May 21, 1921, wife of Irl Moreland for 48 years, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Arlie and Mae Garrett of North Little Rock .
Services to honor her life, memories and gifts will be at Cornerstone Assembly of God, McCain at Locust Streets in North Little Rock, with Reverend Bill Sims officiating at 10:00 O'clock on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
She was a member of Christian Full Gospel Assembly of God, 5508 MacArthur Boulevard, North Little Rock , Arkansas .
"Dinkie" (Flora) was a wonderful person, a devoted Christian, a traveler, wife, mother, gardener, loved birds of which she had many, and an avid antique hunter.
Her husband, Irl, was a partner in Life, inseparable.
She will be missed by all of us, including many "heart Friends' gained in 40 trips over 20 years to Jacobs Cave Trade Fair Days where she was a fixture, in the lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri.
Survivors are her husband, Irl Moreland, one brother Robert D. Garrett, one child Kenneth E. Hatcher and wife Emily, grandsons, Lance and Nicolas Hatcher and granddaughter Laura Swor; granddaughter Delores Diane Kendrick, grandsons Steven Daniel Kendrick, and Aaron Eldredge of Fort Worth, Texas.
A daughter Delores Ann, Eldridge, three brothers James, Virgil and Marshall Garrett and a sister Mabel Lucille Williford predeceased her.
There are eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
Burial will be in crypt number 72 Mulberry Cemetery Mausoleum in England ,Arkansas .
Visitation will be Wednesday May 5, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Huson Funeral Home at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood , Arkansas .
