Floia Francis age 81, of Alpine passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Arkadelphia. She was born March 17, 1932 in Clark County Arkansas to Arlie and Cora Adcock Buck. Floia was of the Christian faith and was retired from the General Tire & Rubber Co. She loved to read and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Rolan Francis.
She is survived by one son, Ben Francis and wife, Polly of Kokomo, Indiana; one brother, Harold Buck of Moberly, Missouri; two sisters, Lee Edna Francis of Alpine, Sue Wolf and husband, Jim of Veedersburg, Indiana; two step-grandchildren, Nick Downs, Wendy Harmon and husband, Chuck all of Kokomo, Indiana; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gerald and Tommye Francis of Benton, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Charles Stover of Pine Bluff; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 21st at Oak Grove Community Church near Alpine. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund.
