Ferry K. Engstrom, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010. She was born December 2, 1924 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Bonnie and Doll Brown Kinard. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylvan Hills.
She is survived by two sons, Harold Bruce Engstrom, of Santa Barbara, California and Charles D. Engstrom, of North Little Rock; daughter, Geraldine Poehlman, of Pangburn; three grandchildren, Taylor Renee Engstrom, Amanda Christine Talley and Mitchell Wade Moore; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Engstrom; son, George Allen Engstrom; brother and sisters, Murry Kinard, Ozelle Tyra, Lodean Gresham, Margaret Endsley and Nell Kinard
She retired after 35 years as a bookkeeper for the Pulaski County Special School District.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
