Faye E. Fortenberry

Faye Evelyn McDaniel Fortenberry, age 70, of Conway went to be with her Savior on December 12, 2019. She died at Conway Regional Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born February 12, 1949 in Lake Village, Arkansas to the late Joe Calvin and Letha May McDaniel. She was a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Lake Village. She was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren beyond measure and enjoyed spoiling them. She also enjoyed singing, dancing, playing games, and solving puzzles.

She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Tommy Fortenberry; a brother, Ray McDaniel; and a sister, Netty Pearl McDaniel.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Kimberly Purtle (Rodney) of Conway; sons Tony Fortenberry and Alan Fortenberry (Robyn) of Texarkana; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn Fortenberry of Texarkana and Allison Purtle of Conway; a grandson, Ty Purtle of Conway; four brothers, Richard McDaniel of Dardanelle; Robert McDaniel of Cabot; Ted McDaniel of Star City; and Danny Joe McDaniel of Benton; and two sisters, Mary Phelps of Rison; Joyce DeAngelo of Horn Lake, Mississippi. She is also survived by many caring sisters and brothers-in- law, nieces, and nephews.
