Faye Cox, 102, of Little Rock, widow of John Edgmon Cox, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was born in Coweta, Oklahoma to Earnest J. and Nell Breeden Cox and worked as a bookkeeper for Cox Supply Company in El Dorado.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Halbert of Little Rock and Susan Rusmisel of Merrickville, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, Dr. Melanie Davie (Scott) of Dallas, Texas, Gina Porter (Todd) of Little Rock, Jason Rusmisel (Sarah) of Ottawa and Dagan Rusmisel of Merrickville; great-grandchildren, Adam Prasifka (Cori) of Dallas, Travis Prasifka of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jessica Prasifka of Little Rock, Catherine Davie and Camille Davie, both of Dallas, Arwen Rusmisel and Emmett Rusmisel, both of Ottawa, Gabrielle Rusmisel and Faye Rusmisel, both of Merrickville; and great-great-grandchild, Cassius Prasifka of Dallas.
Faye will be buried next to her husband in Howell Valley Cemetery in West Plains, Missouri at a later date. Memorials may be made in her name to Howell Valley Cemetery, P.O. Box 30, West Plains, MO 65775.
