Fay Pauline Abbott Harris age 66 of Rose City North Little Rock passed away to meet her loved ones on March 25, 2011 at the Springhill Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock. Fay was formerly of the Vimy Ridge community. She was born to parents Woodrow and Rosa Abbott on September 14, 1944. Fay was a member of the Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church. She helped many people with her home health care and was dearly loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow Abbott and Rosa Mullings; two brothers Billy Abbott and Danny Mullings and two grandchildren Leah Galley and Robert Burchfield.
She is survived by her husband Earl Harris; two sons John Galley and Justin Abbott of North Little Rock; three daughters Pattie Burchfield and spouse David of Alexander, Esta Abbott and Brandi Galley of North Little Rock; two brothers, her twin brother, Raymond and his companion, Beth Abbott and James E. Abbott all of Alexander; three sisters Jeannette and husband Mac Williams of Vimy Ridge, Patsy Hobby of Mabelvale, Rosemary Moak of Lakewood, CO; ten grandchildren Lisa Burchfield, Kayla Gambil, Carley Defozzio, Casey Shamhart, Galley Twins, Taylon Abbott, Carma Barber, Cianna Galley and Payton Abbott; two great grandchildren Elizabeth Burchfield and Caleb Pilgrim.
Visitation will be held at the Peaceful Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday March 29, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be Wednesday March 30, 2011 at 11am at Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church 12214 Germania Drive, Alexander officiated by ministers Gary Hobby, James Thurston and Josh Robertson.
Pallbears will be Bob Bouge, Steve Fenner, Junior Long, Marty Williams, Danny Williams and Sam Mullings. Honorary Pallbears will be Leon Hobby, David Burchfield, Wes Ziegler, Ricky Byrd and Dusty Williams.
