Fannie Lee Powell, 83 of Little Rock, formally of Bloomington, Illinois, died Sunday, October 26, 2008. She was born September 10, 1925 in Carson Lake, Arkansas to the late Frank and Elzora Crawford. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by one brother, three sisters and one son, William J. Powell (Johnie) of Little Rock, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association,411 S. Victory Street #202, Little rock, Arkansas 72201.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Gloryland Family Fellowship in North Little Rock with Pastor Cedrick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
