F. McConnell

F. O. "Don" McConnell, Jr., 68, of Little Rock, passed away February 10, 2017. Born in Little Rock to F. O. "Don" McConnell, Sr. and Elizabeth Hampel McConnell, he was a graduate of Catholic High, Class of 1966. Don spent his entire life at McConnell Heavy Hauling and has served as President for the past twenty-three years.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Robertson McConnell; sons, F. O. "Reck" McConnell III (Wendy) of Little Rock and William Trevor McConnell (Yisel) of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Carol Ann Jennings (Ronnie) of Little Rock; brother, Kenneth McConnell, Sr. (Tina) of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Stormie Wells, Zach McConnell, Brady Willits, Rose Marie McConnell, Lily Marie McConnell and Nicolas Trevor McConnell.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 at Christ the King Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone at Christ the King on Wednesday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
