Ezra Keeton, age 89 of Bismarck died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab. He was born Feb. 10, 1917 in Bismarck the son of the late Hampton and Martha Hughes Keeton. He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Co and a member of the DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Vera Wood Keeton; one daughter, Oneida Carter and husband, Pete of Bismarck; three sons, Hancel Keeton and wife, Katie of North Little Rock; Billy Keeton and wife, Pat and Wayne Keeton and wife, Ann all of Bismarck; one sister, Pearl Miller of Malvern; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 Am Saturday, June 10, 2006 in the DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Chris Morrison officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in DeRoche Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe, J.C., and Troy Keeton, Mark Harper, Jimmy Ray Huff , and Carl Hardage.
