Ezra Faith Akin took her final rest in the arms of her loving mother on July 1, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center. Ezra Faith's presence, laughter, smile, and light will be missed more than her parents have the words to describe.

Ezra Faith arrived on July 1, 2023, a blessing placed softly into the arms of her parents. Though Ezra Faith was with her family for only a brief moment, that’s all the time she needed to change the lives of those she touched forever.

Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with Ezra Faith. She is survived by her loving family: her parents, Trace and Allaeina Akin of Hensley, Arkansas; her brother,TJ Akin of Hensley, Arkansas; her grandparents:  Christopher and Abigail Adams of Bauxite, Arkansas and Terry and Tamara Akin of Hensley, Arkansas; her great-grandparents:  Larry and Tammie Adams of Bauxite, Arkansas, Mike and Kitty May of DeKalb, Texas, Ken and Mae Velvin of Texarkana, Texas, and Meg Thornton of Texarkana, Texas; and many loving aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Ezra Faith was welcomed in the arms of her great-grandparents in heaven, Jerry and Joyce Bridges of Texarkana, Texas.  

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - Noon, Saturday, July 8, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
