Evoda Belle Griffis Kight age 92 of Donaldson, AR died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at her home. She was born January 1, 1916 in Hot Spring County the daughter of Floyd and Winnie Gardner. She and her first husband, the late Charles Howell Griffis, owned and operated pharmacies in Sparkman and Little Rock. She was a member of the Sparkman Home Extension Club, the Friendship Baptist Church and loved going to the Malvern Senior Adult Center.

Survivors include two sons, Leland Griffis and his wife Reba of North Little Rock, Dr. Carl Griffis and his wife Barbara of Fayetteville, a step-son Dale Kight and his wife Karen of Hot Springs, one daughter Joanna Mosley and her husband Guy of Hensley, AR, two step-daughters, Jeanie Roberts and her husband Bill of Crossett, AR, Sandra Nottinkamper and her husband Stan of Hot Springs, one sister Mary Santangelo of Martinez, Ga, eight grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, June 27, 2008 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Sign on line guest book at www.ruggleswilcox.com .
