Evelyn Presley Porter age 84 of Sparkman died Thursday, July 30, 2015. She was born August 29, 1930 the daughter of the late James Wesley and Eva Ward Presley. She was a retired administrator of the Arkansas Industrial Development Commission and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Sparkman. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Porter.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Black of Sparkman and James A. Black of Little Rock, one daughter, Brynda McCullough of Sparkman, one brother, Thomas Presley of Dallas, one sister, Marie Caddy of Bismarck, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, August 2nd in the First Baptist Church of Sparkman with Rev. Wade Totty and Rev. James Guthrie officiating . Burial will be in the Atchley Cemetery near Dalark. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
Memorials may be made to the Sparkman Food Pantry.
