Evelyn Sue Dobson

Evelyn Sue Dobson age 81, of Arkadelphia, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 in Arkadelphia. She was born March 6, 1941 to the late Young Columbus and Effie Whisenhunt Norris. Evelyn graduated from Amity High School in 1959. She graduated from Draughon’s Business School and went on to graduate from Henderson State University in 1971.

Evelyn was a member of Spring Creek Church. She worked with Merchants & Planters Bank in Arkadelphia for several years. She previously worked with Red Cross and the Benton Police Department and was a licensed cosmetologist.

Survivors are two daughters, Beth Waggoner of Arkadelphia and Charsa Wright (Paul) of Benton; three grandchildren, Zachary Waggoner of Arkadelphia, Katy Wright and Robby Wright both of Benton; and one sister, Mary Westfall (John) of Glenwood.

Visitation will be 12:30 PM Saturday, May 14^th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with celebration of life services to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
