Evelyn Browder

Evelyn Elizabeth Browder, 77, of Hensley, Arkansas passed away January 11, 2021.  She was born April 13, 1943 in Marvel, Arkansas to the late John T. and Evelyn Elizabeth (Carey) Abner.

Evelyn loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding Evelyn in death are her parents, John T. and Evelyn Elizabeth (Carey) Abner; and siblings:  John Abner, James “Jimmy” Abner, Linda Gail Abner Goldman, and Janet Mae Abner Cook.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of sixty years, Donald A. Browder; children:  Donald R. Browder and wife Rebecca, Tammy Browder Copeland and husband Mike, and Andy Browder and wife Barbara; six grandchildren:  Jillian Browder, Jason Leichmon and wife Courtney, Nicole Copeland, Megan Copeland Minick and husband Carl, Andrew Browder, and Dillon Browder; six great-grandchildren:  Kobe Leichmon, Braylon Leichmon, Lela Rose Leichmon, Zander Leichmon, Caleb Cavanaugh, and Victoria “Tori” Browder; siblings:  Randy Abner and wife Jeannie, Billy Abner and wife Christina, Sue Abner Lasley and husband Bob, and Teresa Cox; and many family members and friends who love Evelyn and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, January 18, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.  Funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, January 19 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park.  Assisting as pallbearers are Andy Browder, Dillon Browder, Mike Copeland, Randy Abner, and Donald Browder.  State of Arkansas COVID-19 Directives:  Masks are required (not provided) and social distancing will be maintained.
