Evelyn Ashmore
Evelyn Morene Ashmore, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born October 9, 1925 at Weber Falls, Oklahoma, to Melton and Nellie (Sawyer) Pearson, and she died November 10, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Ashmore; her parents; sons Paul Wayne Ashmore, Sr. and Lloyd Harlan Ashmore; and great-granddaughter Victoria Henderson.
Evelyn is survived by daughters Evelyn Carter, Charlene Tapia, Betty Joann Jones, and Lara "Sissy" Newsom (Norman); sons Teddy Gene Ashmore (Jewel) and Paul Wayne Ashmore, Jr.; sister-in-law Elender "Ellie" Morrison; nineteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Hickory Plains United Methodist Church, with burial in Butlerville Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
