Evelyn Allen

Evelyn Holcomb Allen age 91 of Bismarck, AR died Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born February 22, 1923 in Clark County the daughter of Jewell Rush and Cora Amy Kirksey Holcomb. She was a retired dairy farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bismarck. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances LaVonne Allen, six brothers, Vernon, Charles, Lendol, Wayne, Gerald. and Gene Holcomb and three sisters, Verlon Floyd, Fern Ainsworth and Ruth Partridge. Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Carla) Allen and Terry (Dee) Allen both of Bismarck, three daughters, Evon Teague and Dewana Allen both of Bismarck and Hilda (Benito) Ochoa of Texarkana, AR, one brother, Larry (Carolyn) Holcomb of Hot Springs, one sister LaVonne (Cliff) Carson of Hampton, AR, six grandchildren, Jeremy, Tasha, and Trent Allen, Katrina Knoedl, Tracy Hogan and Drew Adcock, 9 great grandchildren, five sisters-in-law Mary, Gloria, Patricia, and Linda Holcomb and Karen McKinney. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, in the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia. The visitation will be from 9:30 AM till service time Monday. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie, Jeremy, and Trent Allen, Kevin Carson, Brent Holcomb, Josh Hogan, Drew Adcock, and Louie Wilson, honorary pallbearers will be Tristan Knoedl, Dennis and Alan Holcomb, James and Pete Wilson, and great grandsons, Lane, Ty, Brody, Gavin, Levi, and Eli.
