Eva Jo Weir, 74, passed away February 16, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones. Eva Jo was born April 13, 1942 in Tomato, AR to Bill and Thelma Carson Batey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Herbert, Billy and Jesse Batey; and sister, Shirley Hawthorne.
She is survived by her husband, William Weir, of the home; children, James (Bob Breashers) Shinault, Mary (Leslie) Hess, Lisa Morgan; grandchildren, Samuel Caldwell, Thomas Heavner, Katelyn Williams, Blake Hess, Sean Morgan, Emma Morgan; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Becky Wyland, Cathy McCullough, Doyle Batey, and Helen Batey.
There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
On Thursday, February 23, 2017, a visitation will be held from 12-1 pm at McNabb Funeral Home, Pocahontas, AR with a memorial service following at 1 pm with Doyle Batey officiating.
