Euritha Janiece Brazil, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on October 27, 2024 at the age of 92. She was born on November 2, 1931 in Bono, Arkansas, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.
Euritha dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving as a dining assistant at the Arkansas National Guard PEC at Camp Robinson. Her commitment to her work exemplified her caring nature and strong work ethic. Beyond her professional contributions, Euritha was an extraordinary individual known for her loving and vibrant personality. She was sassy, hard-headed, and possessed a remarkable sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around her.
Family was at the heart of Euritha's existence. She took great joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her twin great-grandsons, particularly during the holidays. Her culinary prowess was legendary, with her cornbread dressing becoming a beloved staple at family gatherings. Euritha’s home was a place where kindness and warmth flourished, and her family memories will forever be cherished.
In her leisure time, Euritha enjoyed the thrill of visiting Tunica and trying her luck with the slot machines, embodying her lively spirit and zest for life.
Euritha leaves behind her beloved children, Richard Allen Brazil (Patricia) and Rebecca Lee Platt (Troy), along with her adored grandchildren, Jason Brazil (Tricia), Christina Raper (Jon), Michelle Brazil, and Jennifer DeVore (Joshua). Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Grant, Catelin, McKinley, Carson, Jasper, and Jaxon, who will carry her spirit forward.
Euritha is reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Herman and Mildred Fabian, her sister Loeta Huffman, and her brothers Wayne Knight and Aubrey Knight.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM on November 1, 2024, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street).
Euritha Janiece Brazil will be remembered not only for her contributions to her community and family but also for the love and laughter she bestowed upon all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
