Eugene "Gene" Yarbrough, age 69, of Bismarck, died Thursday, May 14, 2015. He was born April 26, 1946 in Bismarck the son of Elmer Lee and Vervie A. Woods Yarbrough. He was retired from the Hot Spring County Road Department and a member and Deacon of the Oak Bower Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Debbie Yarbrough, one son, Eugene Yarbrough, and two brothers, Cecil and Jerry Don Yarbrough.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wilson Yarbrough, two sons, Nelson (Stephanie) Yarbrough and Shane (Kay) Yarbrough, both of Bismarck; one daughter, Kathy (Ronnie) Sharp of Morrilton; daughter-in-law Robin Yarbrough of Hot Springs; one brother, Doyle Yarbrough of Hot Springs; and two sisters, Sherry Miller of Hot Springs and Linda Kay Fendley of Bismarck; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two step-sons, William Thomas of Colorado, and Dennis Thomas of Hot Springs; one step-daughter Dorina Lamb of Bismarck.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, in Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Keith Thornton and William Wesson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Hot Spring County Road Dept. and members of the Oak Bower Church of Christ.
