Eugene DeBell

Eugene Harvey "Wimpy" DeBell, 88, of North Little Rock died Monday, February 9th, 2015. He was born in Follett, Texas on December 13th, 1926 to the late John Harvey and Elise Kelley DeBell. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Ann Keeton DeBell, brothers, John Alfred and John Albert DeBell; sister Velva Lois Goforth, and his parents.
Wimpy was a WWII Navy Veteran, he received his Masters Degree in Engineering from the University of Arkansas, had retired as Territory Sales Manager for a Major Air Conditioning Manufacturer after 35 years of service, and was a member of the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers.
He is survived by his sister-in-law Brenda Brighton and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 14th, 12:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. Please visit www.smithfamilycares.com to sign the online guest register.
