Euell “Cotton” Wilson, age 90, of Arkadelphia passed away Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born May 23, 1934, in Pisgah, Arkansas to the late James Albert and Nora Lea (Slatton) Wilson. Cotton enjoyed fishing. He also loved restoring antique tractors and was a member of Tractors of the Past. Cotton loved attending family reunions and spending time with the Wilson Family. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Cotton was the body shop manager at the Long Ford dealership in Arkadelphia for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Peggy Sue (Childers) Wilson; sisters, Ruth Parks, Gustena Jester, Theda Faye Bolt, and Lea Ella Howell; and brother, Jake Wilson.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Amanda “Mandy” Bunn, Becky Hughes (Clifton), and Gerry Wilson (Gina); grandchildren, Shanna Eason, Justin Hughes, and Trent Hughes; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Jick Wilson; sister, Zetta Rae Crocker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services are 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2024, at Delight Cemetery with Bro. Greg Latham officiating. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation for their outstanding care. Memorials may be made to a Humane Society of your choice.
