Etta "Coriene" Diffee

Etta “Coriene” Diffee (76) of Bismarck went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 8, 1948 in Amity to Wilburn and Verna Henson. She was a devoted cafeteria worker at Bismarck School, she loved her coworkers and enjoyed seeing kids come through the line everyday. She was a longtime member of Beaton Methodist Church where she held a position as treasurer. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Erma Dean Henson, Mary Alice Ferguson, and Blondell Looper.  

She leaves behind her loving husband of 58 years, Carrol, as well as her children, Mark (Monica) Diffee and Jennifer (Rodney) Burton; grandchildren, Morgan (Frank) Ruiz, Lindsey Burton, Logan Diffee, and Maty (Lane) Humphreys; great-grandchildren, Ezio and Leviticus Ruiz; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

 Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Funeral services will be Friday, September 6, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Beaton Methodist Church in Bismarck with Rick Collie officiating. Graveside services to follow at Beaton Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Logan Diffee, Terry Diffee, Lane Humphreys, Tyler Finney, Scotty Diffee, Tony Looper, David Looper, and Calvin Looper. 

 Honorary pallbearers include Randy Looper and CHI Hospice.
