Ethel Juanita Sanderson, 87, of Lamar passed away Friday, January 02, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith, worked in the Cherrywood Baptist Nursery and loved to cooked and crochet.
She is survived by two sons, Charles Sanderson and James Ray Sanderson, Sr.; daughter, Carolyn Sue Tarkington; thirteen grandchildren, Amber Sanderson, Christopher Sanderson, Crystal Sanderson, Dana Sanderson, Gary Don Sanderson, Michelle Sanderson, Natalie Sanderson, Derrick Tarkington, Joshua Tarkington, Kimberly Tarkington, Kayla Tarkington, Jessica Tarkington and Diane Tarkington Teague; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Sanderson, Sr.; son, John Sanderson, Jr.; and her grandson, James Ray Sanderson, Jr.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
