Esther Casero

Esther L. Casero, 93, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center. She is survived by her daughter, Sol Aldara Albertson and her husband, Richard of Little Rock; her son, Wilfredo L. Casero of Havana, Cuba; her granddaughter, Gabrielle N. Moxley , her husband, Brant, and great-granddaughter, Lauren E. Moxley of Glendale, Arizona. She is also survived by a cousin, Luisa Perez of Miami, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews also of Miami; and her two black Labs, Colby and Carmen.
Esther was born July 6, 1913 in the Province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba to Mr. and Mrs. Enrique Santoyo, who preceded her in death. She was the widow of Wilfredo N. Casero, to whom she was married for 53 years.
Esther and her beloved husband immigrated to the United States in 1967 from Havana, Cuba. They started a second life in their new country, residing in New York City. At a time when most people think about retirement, they took advantage of all the wonderful things the United States had to offer to those willing to work hard. Esther was a terrific mother and wife and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at the Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center for the loving care and attention they provided her with during her stay there. Special thanks to Dr. James Metrailer for the many years of being "My Doctor" as she lovingly referred to him.
