Estelle Doris Pope

   Estelle Doris Pope, 98, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2022. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend to everyone. Estelle worked 28 years at Timex as a machinist. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ. Her passion was gardening, sewing, canning and most importantly, her family.

   She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard Franklin Pope, Sr.; daughter, Pat Smith; grandson, Ricky Thompson; brothers, Brad White, Ezra White, JW White, Philip White and Bob White; sister, Ann Stepp; father, Lawrence Dow White and mother, Laura Lacombe White.

   She is survived by her children, Richard F. Pope, Jr. (Mary Ann), Thomas L. Pope and David L. Pope (Elizabeth) and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

   The family would like to thank her caregivers, Patty Thompson, Lisa Gagne and all of the family who assisted in caring for her. A visitation will be held at 5:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.
