Estella Sanchez

Estella Sanchez, 86, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 23, 2017. She was born May 13, 1931 in Alice, Texas. Estella was of the Catholic faith. She found joy in serving and helping others. Estella loved spending time at the Little Rock Senior Center and enjoyed dancing. Preceding Estella in death are her parents, Procopio Sanchez and Saturnina Gonzales; brother, Manuel Sanchez; two sisters, Diane Trevino and Susie Romero; and sister-in-law, Eva Sanchez. Estella leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Pete Sanchez and wife Linda of Benton, Arkansas, Johnny Sanchez and wife Beth of Alexander, Arkansas, and Roy Sanchez and wife Tamara of Romance, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Estella Hotary and husband Scott, Christy Scott and husband David, Sara Lary and husband Mike, Candace Baltz and husband Jason, Megan Crist and husband Cody, Michael Sanchez and wife Cassandra, Mark Sanchez, Rebecca Ward and husband Jeremy, J.R. Ballard and wife Cara, and Laura Thompson and husband Christopher; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Dora Garza and husband Frank of Houston, Texas; and a host of family members and friends who loved Estella and will miss her always. Reception visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 30 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Bill Elliott, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Burial following at Smith-Rosemont cemetery with Scott Hotary, David Scott, Mike Lary, Jason Baltz, Cody Crist, and Jeremy Ward assisting as pallbearers.
