Ernie Kyzer, 79, of Beebe, Arkansas, died Monday, June 27, 2011. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force and served as Quarter Master for the State VFW for sixteen years. For many years he served on the Military Honors Team, rendering honors to many deceased veterans. He is survived by his wife, Sue Kyzer; three sons, Ernest "Buddy" Kyzer, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Edward Kyzer and Michael Kyzer, both of Mesa, Arizona; two stepsons, Terry Cook of Kensett and Anthony Cook of Judsonia; one daughter, Katherine Crystal of Longmont, Colorado; one stepdaughter, Renee Tebbetts of Sherwood; and one granddaughter, Kaitlynn Kyzer of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Amon and John, and a grandson, Tommy.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
