Eric Jerome Edwards Sr.

Eric Jerome Edwards, 47 was born February 12, 1976 in Little Rock, AR. He was the son of the late Willie James Edwards and Mary Elizabeth Johnson. He left this earthly realm and entered the presence of the heavenly Father on July 14, 2023.
Shortly after graduating from high school Eric entered the United States Army. He loved serving his country. After one tour of duty, he knew the service life was for him.  He served and retired from the Army with several accommodations and an honorable discharge.

Eric loved Christ and his family.  He was a kind, loving man who placed his family first. Those that knew him would agree he was a gentle giant that would give his last to make them happy and keep them safe. His love of the Lord was no less.  He professed his hope in Christ at an early age and served until death.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Lee Edwards and Mary Elizabeth Johnson, brothers Willie James Edwards, Michael Antone Gray. Sister Elizabeth Denise Edwards. Eric leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving wife Nadia Edwards; sons, Jayron Johnson Jr., Eric Edwards Jr., Elijah Edwards, Ethan Edwards, Matthew Edwards, Isaiah Edwards, daughters, Victoria Johnson, Anais Edwards, Sylvia WileyCollins, Jermani WileyCollins Brothers; Don Neil Edwards, Houston Walker. Sisters; Margaret E. Morgan Wilson McIntire, Tammie Renee Edwards. As well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

The family of Eric Jerome Edwards wishes to acknowledge with great appreciation and heartfelt thanks  the many prayers, calls, visits, cards, flowers, and any other expression of kindness and concern during our time of loss. Therefore, we say “Thank you” for opening your hearts to our family. May God continue to bless you and keep each of your safe in his arms.
