Emogene Bias, 80, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009. She was born March 25, 1929 in Huntington, West Virginia to George Mack and Elsa Marie Barrett Collins.
She is survived by two sons, Odell (Brenda) Bias, of Sherwood and Robert (Shannon) Mays, of Jacksonville; three daughters, Helen Stricklin, of Maumelle, Connie (Gary) Gregory, of Malvern and Lora Solie, of Sherwood; step-daughter, Angie Porter, of Maumelle; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Bias; son, James Bias; granddaughter; great-grandson; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St. 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
