Emma Crockett
Emma Dell Wright Crockett, passed away December 31, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., holding her niece, Kathy's hand. She was born April 16, 1927 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Amos Jasper Wright and Rosie Tennessee Wright.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Davy, the 7th descendant of the Alamo's Davy Crockett. Mrs. Crockett lived among good friends in Good Shepherd Retirement Center with her dog, Sheba. Mrs. Crockett, or Dell, as her friends knew her by, was pre-deceased by her sister, Anna Mae Ratliff and her brother, William Wright. She is survived by two sisters, Ruth Rawls, also of Good Shepherd, and Jackie Brewer, and her husband James, a brother, Amos Wright, bonus son, Sandy Crockett and his wife, Barbara, bonus daughter, Robinette Oliver and her husband David, and many nieces and nephews.
All prayers for Dell in her last days will never be forgotten, nor will the kindness of the nurses at St. Vincent Infirmary.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com
