Emma Bailey

Emma Jewell Bailey, 70, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away October 7, 2021.  She was born May 5, 1951 in Traskwood, Arkansas to the late Robert and Jewell (Clift) Wilbanks.

Emma loved being a nurse and took great care of her patients.  She attended Celebration Baptist Church in Haskell, Arkansas.  Emma was a strong-willed woman who enjoyed being in charge.  She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.  Special treats she spoiled herself with were going out to eat and getting her nails done.

Preceding Emma in death are her parents, Robert and Jewell Wilbanks; eighteen siblings; and special son-in-law, Carl Berry.

Emma leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Larry Parker, Jr. and his wife Sunday of Benton, Arkansas; two daughters:  Dawn Berry of Alexander, Arkansas and Nikki Taber and her husband Michael of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren:  Trey Parker, Katie Ferren and husband Justin, Blake Parker, Carl Berry, Jr., and Lily Taber; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers:  George Eggleston and wife Janice of White Hall, Arkansas and Robert Wilbanks, Jr. and wife Jo Ann of Benton, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love Emma and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM, Saturday, October 9, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with memorial service, officiated by Bro. Eakin, following at 10:30 AM.
