Emilie Vint, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. She was born to the late Jesse Roland and Arizona McKuin Auvenshine on March 10, 1928 in Formosa, Arkansas. Emilie was a member of Lynch View Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James Vint and wife, Regena, of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Jason Allan Vint, Travis Lee Vint, Trent Justin Taylor and Tarah Brooke Taylor; great-grandchildren, Neela Ann Vint, Georgia Grace Vint and Kane Gunnar Taylor; sisters, Ava Lou Davis, of Kennett, Missouri, and Carol Luna, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edward Vint; daughter, Betty Taylor and brother, Thomas Auvenshine.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., at Wolf Cemetery in Conway County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
