Elton G. Cook age 94 of Hot Springs died Saturday. He was born August 27, 1915 in Clark County the son of J. D. and Nellie Allen Cook. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII, a retired employee of the Pine Bluff Arsenal and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Stalker and a sister Alma Dodson.
Survivors include two grandsons, Scott Stalker and Steve Stalker both of Batesville and one granddaughter, Suzanne Magouyork also of Batesville.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Arkadelphia. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM till service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Caddo Valley Cemetery Association c/o John Frazier, 208 East Dodson St., Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
