Eloy Saenz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on September12, 2024 at the age of 63. Born on December 14, 1960, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Eloy dedicated his life to hard work and family. As a diligent subcontractor for maintenance work, he earned respect in his field, always putting in the effort to ensure that every job duty was done to perfection.
Eloy was not only known for his strong work ethic but also for his deep love for his family. He cherished each moment spent with them, and his grandchildren lovingly referred to him as "Little Grandpa." With a special gift for soothing even the fussiest of babies, Eloy was truly a baby whisperer, a fact that brought joy and comfort to his family. His warm embrace and gentle presence created a haven for his grandbabies, who flourished under his care.
An aficionado of life's simple pleasures, Eloy had a passion for food. He delighted in exploring various restaurants and sampling their culinary offerings, especially enjoying these outings in the company of those he loved. The outdoors captivated him as well; he relished the tranquility of nature and found joy in fishing, often seeking the serenity of babbling brooks and picturesque walking trails.
Eloy is survived by the love of his life, his wife Claudette Flippin, his children: Zachary Tyler (Monica Sanders), Audryanna Cheyenne Flippin (Antonio Garcia Sr.), Tiffanie Saenz (Derek), and Brianna Saenz (Cameron). He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Aniyah, Cristian—affectionately known as Ace, Antonio Jr., Elijah, Enzo, and Reann. His brother, Nickolas Saenz, along with numerous friends, family members, and friends who were like family members, such as Hurston Simpson, are left to mourn his loss.
Eloy is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Julia Saenz. As we gather to remember his life, we celebrate the legacy of love he leaves behind—a legacy that has shaped the hearts of those who knew him. His spirit will undoubtedly live on in the cherished stories and memories that will forever resonate within the families and friendships he nurtured throughout his life.
