Mom has gone to Heaven. Now she is an Angel. Eloise M. Ensminger passed on Saturday August 8, 2015. She was born February 5, 1945 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Alfred and Ruth Muldoon. Eloise lived a noble life full of friends, family, and adventure. Her greatest adventure started April 10, 1969 with her marriage to J. David Ensminger. They raised four children: Cindy, Fred, Steve, and Marty, and built several small businesses together as well as many other entrepreneurial pursuits; all with great success. She had no customers-everyone was like family stopping by for a stogie. She could fly her own plane, skipper her own boat, and even tow her kid's broken-down car home. Her passion was giving. She was always there for you, no matter the circumstances and never expected anything in return. Everyone who had the privilege of knowing her loved and respected her. Her legacy is one of tolerance, determination, generosity and compassion.
Most importantly Eloise enjoyed a close lifelong relationship with her four sisters Virginia, Kathy, Sheila, and Theresa and their families. Eloise was Auntie to eight loving nieces and nephews Jeanie, Adrienne, Margaret, Jonathan, Ellen, Andrew, Molly, and Ben. Eloise especially enjoyed her eight grandchildren Fred Alan, Amanda, Emily, Andrew, Jennifer, Lindsey, Balin, and Jacob; and of course her great-granddaughter Amelia.
The memory of a good person is a blessing. Proverbs 10:7.
A service will be held at The Little Rock Funeral Home on Knoedl Court at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 12, 2015. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. The family of Eloise Ensminger wishes to thank the CHI St Vincent's Hospital staff and all of her friends and family who fought the good fight with her, especially Cindy.
