Elnora (Babe) Kelley, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, moved on to glory October 27, 2006. She was born April 24, 1921, in England, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver Kelley, and her parents, Edna Earl Hicks Colbert and Horace T. Colbert, and many family and friends. Babe was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock.
She leaves behind her children, Beverly Dennis (Bill), Mickey Kelley, Benita Kelley Martin (Mike) and Debbie Neumann (Chris). She also leaves behind her special nieces and nephew, Kaye Hardcastle (Al), Carolyn Hankins (Carl) and Buster Colbert. Nanny to some and Granny Babe to others, she was loved and admired by her eight grandchildren; Cindy Weatherford, Tammy Dixon and Kip Hankins of Cabot, Renee Martin and Missy Cromer of Tennessee, Michael Allen of Bryant, Brittany Martin and Kelley Hasler of North Little Rock, and her sixteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was Mom to so many people and all were welcomed in her home and life. She spent many years meeting and greeting the public with her warm smile and happy, helpful attitude. She was always grateful for her blessings, was always helpful to those in need, and loved her family and the Lord. The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Delbra Carradine and Margaret Jones, and her special caregivers from Arkansas Hospice and Home Instead. We would also like to thank Dick and Kay Eshbacher and Nancy Hamilton for their selfless service as extraordinary ministers. They were blessings in her time of need, and she so looked forward to their visits.
