Elmer Ellsworth White

Elmer Ellsworth White Jr, 74 of Beebe, Arkansas, returned home to his Heavenly Father on July 23, 2023, with family by his side.  Elmer, Jr. to friends and family, was born August 12, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland to Elmer E. White and Helen Margaret Wilson.

Elmer was a Vietnam Era Navy Vet and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Elmers’s passion for cooking and serving others lead him to a life of restaurant management and management positions with a variety of other companies.

Elmer’s proudest achievement was seeing his sons follow in his footsteps and serve their country by enlisting in the United States Navy.  Within just a few minutes of meeting Elmer you would hear at least one story about one of his sons and their families.

Elmer is survived by his sons Robert Bobby Ellsworth White of Morrilton, Arkansas, Patrick White of Beebe, Arkansas and Tim White of Virginia Beach, Virginia; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; and his sister Margaret Gallagher of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Services will be held Saturday, July 29th at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry Drive in Beebe, Arkansas.  The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the services at 9:00 – 10:00 am.  The interment will be held at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to a Veterans Service Organization.  Online Guestbook: smithfamilycares.com/westbrook
