Ellison "Elli" Bryde

Ellison Margaret Bryde  (Elli) was born November 26, 2003 in Norfolk, VA to the late Walter C. Bryde and Kari Langford Bryde.  She passed away early Friday morning on August 20, 2021. She spent most of her school years at The Anthony School and Mount St. Mary Academy in Little Rock and had just begun her senior year of high school.

Elli loved all people and all animals. She was so excited about her new job at US Pizza Co. in Bryant and her big smile was often the first thing diners would encounter. She also enjoyed helping with the horses at the polo club and working with her own horse, Journey, who she hoped to begin barrel racing with in the fall.

Elli could sing like an angel with the force of 1,000 chariots behind her.

Ellison was survived by her mother, Kari Bryde (Clay); her step-father, Joe M. Clay, Jr.; her sister, Jameson Utley; her brother-in-law, Christopher Utley; her grandparents, Jamie Langford, Bette McKinney, and Joe M. Clay, Sr.; her aunts, Keli Davis, Tracey Clay, Valerie Murphy and Joyce Langford; her uncles Kenny Davis and Garland Murphy; and her cousins, Caroline Rosenthal, Payton Davis, Audra Alexander, Ashley Bahlmann, Quinn Murphy, and Clay Murphy. She is also survived by family friends Carol and Mike Hulse, Chloe Farquharson, and Addie Farquharson.

Ellison was preceded in death by her father, Walter C. Bryde and her grandfather, James E. Langford.

Citing her love for animals above, she is survived by her sweet dog, Macy, and preceded in death by her childhood companion, Maggie.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 26th followed by a Celebration of Ellison’s life at 6:00 PM at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Ellison loved white flowers. If so inclined, please help us fill the chapel with them.
