Ellen Rose Lawrence Wilson, 79, of Little Rock, passed away January 5, 2014. She was born in Alco, Arkansas to Clyde E. and Georgia Gilbert Lawrence and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Columbus F. Wilson, and two brothers, Marcus Lawrence and Travis Lawrence, she is survived by her brother, Leighton Lawrence and his wife, Mickey of Grundy, Virginia; niece, Kara Lawrence and nephew, Todd Lawrence; cousin, Beulah "Boots" Scott; special friends, Eleanor Jones and Mary Bagby; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family offers special thanks to the staff at Briarwood Nursing Home for their loving and compassionate care.
Services will be Thursday, January 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Jacob Bagby. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
