Ellen Ruth Thompson

Ellen Ruth Thompson, age 76, of Hot Springs passed away on September 16, 2022.  She was born July 26, 1946, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late John and Pauline Wells.  Ellen was a member of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs and the Believer Sunday School Class.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Loving survivors include her husband, Richard Thompson; children, John Morgan, Russ Morgan and Karen Morgan; seven grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Holt, Fran Oliver (Gerald), Sheila Conrad, Martha Kennedy; and brother Tommy Wells (Peggy).

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, September 20^th at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs.

A Celebration of Ellen’s life will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 21^st at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
