Elizabeth Rachel Poindexter, 84, of Judsonia went to be with the Lord Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born on March 11, 1932 to Samuel and Alma (Haney) Jinkins. She was a member of Highway Baptist Church. She lived her last three years in Oakdale Nursing Home, where she had many friends. She loved her roommate Ms. Bonnie. She was a very loving and caring woman.

Left to cherish every memory are one son Jimmie (Gail) Poindexter of Cabot; five grandchildren, Kimberly Poindexter of Cabot, Ricky Poindexter of Judsonia, Sherry Bridges of Bald Knob, Ellina Rigsby of Patterson, and Belinda (Buford) Smith of Bald Knob. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, two sisters, and one brother.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Alma Ann Gaskin, her husband James Poindexter, two brothers, and one sister.

For everyone that knew and loved our grandmother, Elizabeth "Rachel" Poindexter, and would like to pay their respects and celebrate her life with us, her memorial will be March 4, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Charity Baptist Church in Ward, Arkansas. Cremation Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
