Elizabeth Lane

Elizabeth "Liz" Alice Tilbury Lane, 75, of North Little Rock, AR passed away on December 2, 2016. She was born October 16, 1941. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Dockins Sunday School Class at Park Hill Baptist Church. Liz loved her family. She was MaMa to her grandkids and great-granddaughters. She was active in her daughters' school activities as they were growing up and was a Girl Scout leader. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Her talents and hobbies included sewing, knitting, crocheting, needlework and making something out of nothing. She enjoyed teaching adult craft classes for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H.L. and Willie Mae Tilbury, and C.A. "Buddy" and Ruth Burrell; her special great-aunt, Alice Constantine; sister, Margaret Tilbury Smith and brother, Billy Tilbury.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Benny Lane; daughters Vicky (Michael) Salkeld and Debby (Travis) Smith; granddaughter Stephanie (Michael) Jeffers; grandsons Steven (Sherri) Rushin and Derrell Johnson; great-granddaughters Jordan and Whitney Jeffers; sisters Lois Tilbury Concilio, Patricia Burrell Polk and Hazel Tilbury Land; brothers Henry Tilbury and Floyd Tilbury; and a large extended family.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas. The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their compassionate care and incredible support.
Funeral service will be held at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home at 12:30 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday, December 5, 2016 at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.SmithFamilyCares.com
