Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Bergh, 71, of Benton, Arkansas was healed by the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, on August 8, 2016. She was born August 22, 1944 in Independence, Kansas to the late Raymond and Melvina (Kelly) Lenard.
Elizabeth, affectionately known as "Granny Liz" to her grandchildren, found joy in serving others. She frequently worked at her church, Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. She would clean, paint, and help take care of the ladies in the congregation. Liz was a do-er, and served in any way possible to help others.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Donald Jones of Benton, Arkansas, Daniel Jones and wife Alicia of Traskwood, Arkansas, and Casey Jones and wife Sherry of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren, Spencer, Madison, Ethan, Mackenzie, Lydia, Heath, Brittany, and Sydney Jones; one great grandson, Bryson, and one on the way; brother, Charles Lenard of Kansas City, Kansas; nieces, Kristen and Angie; special furry companion, Bella; and a host of family members and friends who loved Elizabeth and will miss her always.
Memorial service, officiated by Bro. Tony Williams, will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church. Family requests that no one wear black to her service as this is a celebration of her life. Memorials may be made to Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church, 928 Traskwood, Malvern, AR 72104.
