Elisa Canderlaria Kelley (Ochoa) went on to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. She was born Tuesday, May 9, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Modesto Ochoa and the late Elia Lujan. Elisa graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1969. From there she went on to various jobs. She was most proud of her work as a data entry operator for Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. She also enjoyed working for Sears. She praised her job at Sears because it became her favorite. Elisa retired from working to take care of her daughter Laura which she found to be rewarding.
Elisa also had very strong beliefs in God that could not be shaken from her, she was a member of the Apostolic Gospel Church of the lord Jesus Christ for over twenty years. She enjoyed practicing on her keyboard so that she could sing to the Lord. She truly had a love of God. She also enjoyed being a grandmother to all of her grandchildren. She could hardly go a day without seeing them because of the joy that they brought to her. Elisa will also be remembered greatly for her willingness to always put others first before herself.
