Eleane Connell

Eleane Golden Connell, age 89 of Arkadelphia died Monday, January 2, 2006. She was born January 31, 1916 in Ghent, AR the daughter of the late Zek and Fannie Bridges Golden. She was retired from the Citizens National Bank and a member of the Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Connell, son, Otis Connell, Jr., two brothers, Harold (Pete) and Marion (Snooks) Golden and a grandson, Roger Lee Connell.
Survivors include one son, Lowell Connell of Arkadelphia; two daughters, Geneva Follis of Malvern and Donna Gullings of California; one brother, James L.(Bud) Golden of Arkadelphia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, lots of nieces, nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Kluck and Rev. Faron Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church.
